Midnight Scenes: A Safe Place

This is more of a phycological horror then the past few games in the series. At first i really didn't like the protagonist at all but the ending made it worth it. This is much more of a visual novel with light puzzles and gameplay but i think this is also one of the better stories by far. The pixel art and music remains good and atmospheric. The voice sound effects are better then "From the Woods" but not perfect yet. It's a really fun and solid horror story i would recommended it 9/10

Worth a play through just for the intense finale. Best episode in the series so far. For anyone thinking of buying all 6 games... skip episode 4, it's gay.

Yet another huge miss, just like From The Woods: the parts before that were great. Extremely boring and depressing visual novel, can't even be called a game as it's completely linear and there are no choices. Characters were unappealing, uninteresting and lacked depth. Graphics and music were meh, sounds effects were laughably bad. Hard pass.

By far the best Midnight Scenes entry yet. I highly recommend, just go in blind.
