Midnight Scenes: The Highway

Nice and short horror game. The vibe is directly inspired by The Twilight Zone episodes from the 60s. This Midnight Scenes series episode takes around 30 minutes to complete. Good visuals, audio, game design, and atmosphere. The scarecrow puzzle scrambled my brain for a few minutes.

I recommend this game for those that love twilight zone style stories. The games music is nice, the story is nice the pixel art is nice, its not a 40 hour game or anything, the puzzles are simple enough overall i just like the experience. And to the developer there are those of us that see your hard work and know its not easy to make games solo. Keep it up as you grow we will continue to support!

Very short but it was fun! Took like 15 minutes. It worked on my steam deck just fine, just use the trackpad.

Bought on sale for 1.94 USD and took me 15 minutes to play through. I've spent twice that on a coffee I chugged in 60 seconds so this is well worth your money. It also inspired me to get back to work on my game.

It's a pretty short horror vignette but i really enjoyed my time with it. The tense and spooky atmosphere is really well done and the scare did get me. If you want a bite sized twilight zone horror game with great art and sound design i would recommend you check it out. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is for the Remastered version update!!! The fact that the remaster kept the original as it's own playable game is very nice so you can see how the art has changed and gotten better over time. The added scenes in the remaster added a lot of new fun scares that keep the atmosphere intact and help flesh out the story much more then the original game. Since you are now getting 2 games it is well worth the price even if both are quite short 10/10
