Got this game for free and honestly I still wouldn’t recommend it. It wasn’t really scary and I got bored pretty quick. Definitely wouldn’t pay for this one. 1/10

I received this game for free, but that doesn't change my opinion on it. I actually saw someone playing this on TikTok and decided to check it out myself, and it turned out to be a really fun, short little horror experience. You play as someone driving through a storm whose car breaks down, forcing you to look for someplace safe. You stumble upon a big, old house belonging to an old lady. I'm not gonna spoil the gameplay here anymore. It's pretty short, but for what it is, it's an enjoyable and spooky. Definitely worth a quick playthrough if you're looking for a short horror game to play.

Fears To Fathom is a great episodic horror series that takes real or convincing stories and brings them to life in the form of games that values your time and money. Uncanny Tales: Cold Road is not that. Firstly, the story. The story of crashing/being stranded in a foreign place to you is very overtold, and this game doesn't add anything exciting to the table. From the moment you find the old lady's house, the game is essentially: Go to the bathroom -> Go downstairs -> Get key -> Leave. Nothing is necessarily hinted at, apart from the short interaction when you look at the picture of the lady and her son, which is not enough to make you care about any of the characters. This branches to the ending, when you run (very slowly) out of the house and into the main road. Where I fail to believe that this game's premise is real, is when the officer says the classic "Don't ask too many questions". Truly an eye-rolling ending. A positive of this, is that the game is very easy to get 100% achievements on, as you get achievements for just playing the game. The only achievement I missed was "inspecting everything in the house", but every other achievement comes by playing and finishing the…
