About Batty Zabella

Batty Zabella is a point-and-click horror comedy built using the limitations of real retro hardware. It also marks the debut of a new horror icon; Batty Zabella! Oh, and she's got a big problem - her house is haunted, and her family's missing.Players will navigate the home via an onscreen cursor. Both mouse and keyboard are supported, with mouse support being toggled by clicking the right mouse button. Search the game's many backgrounds for items and clues to solve puzzles. Nearly all actions will be met with commentary from Batty herself, who faces the player on every screen.Inventory space is limited, and Batty also has a magical hairpin equipped at all times. This protects her from phantoms that will be encountered throughout the game, but it must be charged at a special location. If Batty takes too much damage, it's game over!

A small warning, the mouse controls in this game feel very clunky, I assume because it's made with hardware limitations, or maybe just not supported by GB Studio to be more accurate? Otherwise it's a pretty funny graphic adventure, even has some lite "fan service", which I personally don't mind. It's an oldschool graphic adventure, you move around by clicking on the edges of pictures, exploring and doing some easy puzzles. Sometimes you have to pay attentions to the clues like numbers and patterns, nothing too difficult, for the most part the game was very intuitive. Can be completed in about 70 minutes or so. There is some "combat" which mostly comes down to clicking on enemies, but during boss fights you will have to click on moving hotspots (which can be a problem with that pointer speed). Nice pixel art for the locations, I had fun exploring the house and reading the comments, as well as appreciating Mom's assets. It's a pretty basic game for what it is, but I guess it's meant to be like a …

Don't buy this game for sexual content, true there is fan service but this is more like she-hulk. There is an ironic sense of self-awareness and forth wall breaking, along with severe weirdness. Your expectations whatever they are put bluntly are wrong. Its an odd game with a very retro intreface like old flashgames and gameboy combined. Its janky and odd, and so far quite amusing.

Old school atmosphere. Horror & Comedy adventure. A little bit of 18+. I recommend. :)
