Such a creative concept. Reminds me of games like FEZ. Puzzles aren't too hard which makes this frog feel smart.

[h1]This game needs some work.[/h1] FROGBLOCK is a Sokoban-adjacent isometric puzzle game about a frog moving boxes around in orthographic environments. The gameplay consists of moving blocks around with the frog's tongue and turning the camera to shift the environment around. The difficulty often trends toward the easy side, even if some puzzles are highly challenging. Despite its easier difficulty and short length, FROGBLOCK is ultimately a worthwhile experience with many interesting puzzles. Or at least, it would be, but there are many aspects of this game that heavily detract from the enjoyment. [h2]The good[/h2] Before tackling this game’s problems, I will first discuss its good aspects. The most interesting part of this game is the orthographic camera view. I'm playing the mobile version of this game and love it. It's visually appealing, has chill audio, and the levels are the right amount of challenging for me. I also bought it on Steam so my partner can play it via family sharing. So ignore my short play time. I did take a quick look at the PC version though, and it looks like the options are quite limited - some more graphics and control options would be nice (I didn't see any resolution options?). This game seems to have higher GPU requirements than one would think, and I don't want my GPU fan spinning fast during a puzzle game. Anyway, I suggest playing the demo on mobile to see if you like it!

A lovely puzzle game! The visuals and sounds are all very polished! I really enjoy the subtle things, like the golden rails on newly connected paths when you place blocks and rotate the landscape. The game does this very well as well with letting you know where secret collectibles may be hiding while still making it feel like a joy to "see the secret". The aspect of progressively teaching you how to solve more and more complicated puzzles in the world is definitely present as well, the game feels like it naturally makes you better at it. I always enjoy that about a puzzle game. If you're looking to get deep into a cozy puzzle game, I highly recommend, especially if you love frogs.

Very good puzzle game, with some interesting twists for puzzles with the perspective mechanics. It does have a sort of relaxing vibe to it. And being able to skip around levels without having to unlock areas is great for when you get stuck on one particular puzzle.

This game is a very interesting game of concept. However, the game has one weak spot, that is, the backward optimization model: the idea of asking the questin from the finish line to the starting line. I would reccomend this game to anyone I think is intelligent in solving problem with limited resource. Unfortunately, because I am so great at thinking backward from goal to start line the game start to become boring after I get all the concept and start to be such a pain to do a repetitive task.
