Care Bears: To The Rescue

So while the game is most definitely geared towards children. Me and my Wife still had a lot of fun achievement hunting the game together ❤️ i would say to any parents looking for a little game for their kids 14,99€ is a fine price for a cute little platformer (Note to the devs why did you have to make the Blusterland Theme so catchy?). So i think this game has earned a cute 4 out of 5 stars in cuteness. Perfect for kids and easily entertained adults hunting cute achievements, or just searching for something cozy.

Care Bears: To the Rescue is a better platformer than you think. I bet you're thinking this is just some silly kids' platformer game. And you're not wrong. But I also had a lot more fun with it than I expected. Right off the bat, you get to pick one of five Care Bears, each with their own special ability. I did appreciate this feature a lot, as it made for slightly different playstyles. Also, this game definitely ramps up in difficulty with the final two worlds. It's not Mario: Lost Levels hard, of course (what is?), but it's enough to make you try again. And that's coming from a 2D platformer connoisseur. The game is very colorful and vibrant, and they did a great job at mixing up the levels. Each world feels unique, and the stages were a lot of fun to play through, especially with a friend. A game like this was never going to win any awards, but that's not what it's trying to do. It's a fun platformer you can 100% in four hours or less, and it fills its job perfectly. Not every game needs to be a 10/10 experience. Sometimes being "good enough" is perfectly okay.

The game is pretty good, however you can get frustrated with some of the world levels. I’ve got the last two places to do in the last world but just can’t get past it at the moment 😂, this is a game you definitely NEED patience for, there is one big that I noticed.
