Bearly Awesome

The game definitely has potential and it has its own charm. At its current stage, though, there’s still a lot to improve. My biggest suggestion right now is to work on the UI and make everything feel more cohesive. First impressions are very important. Currently, the game jumps straight into character selection. Adding a proper main menu screen would help a lot. It could show off the artistic side of the game, have background music, and include sound effects when interacting with buttons. Music and SFX volume controls would also be a great addition. Navigation between screens should be smoother too. For example, there should be a way to go back from level selection to character selection. Right now, once you move forward, there’s no way to return, which feels limiting. In-game, the first thing I noticed was the big bear icon on the top left. It feels too large and distracting. Making it smaller would improve the UI instantly. It would also be better if it showed the portrait of the selected bear instead of a generic bear icon, so it feels more personalized. Since there is already a character selection system, it would be really nice if different bears had different abilities or …

So firstly, the game is currently free to play at the time of me writing this and it is currently in early access and the developer is still working on the game. Okay, so it took me a total of just under 48 minutes to complete all three of the currently available levels in the game and that included having to restart the first level after finding a bug that soft locked the game for me. So as it stands, this is a nice casual game that will take up just a few minutes of your life. I spotted a few things with the game, that I feel would make the game better. 1. There are no optional settings, so no way to change from full screen to windowed, no volume controls or anything like that. I think they should be part of every game. 2. There are places in the game that you can get stuck, that leaves no choice but to restart the level. (i've recorded my playthrough, so when the developer sees it, they'll know what I mean and should be able to sort that) 3. The moveable blocks, they don't reset, so if you push one against a wall, or into water, that's it, you have no choice but to restart the level. I think it would be better if those blocks reset if you die. 4. I'm not sure if it's intentio…

Well that game was awesome! Its a short, 3-level platforming collect-a-thon with a few stealth and combat sections. Its nothing fancy, but made well, and overall a very enjoyable time.

This game saved my marriage, what can I say it's got it all. If you're looking for your next game to play this is, infinite replayability. A genuine 10/10
