✦ AI summary

Players praise Cornucopia's ambitious farming sim concept with engaging mechanics like animal breeding, character relationships, and cozy gameplay that captures what makes the genre appealing. However, many report that significant bugs, glitches, and incomplete features substantially detract from the experience, with some describing the game as currently unplayable, leading reviewers to suggest waiting for a full release or price discount despite appreciating the developer's care and community involvement.

Cornucopia is an awesome game, it's still being improved at a steady rate, and the gameplay is solid. Some of my favorite features: You can slide to adjust the camera angle between horizontal and top-down, you can individually choose each NPCs artwork version, and recently the tools were given auto-slots separate from the backpack inventory. I also enjoy the soil type/NPK mechanics a lot, the amount of fruit trees is bananas (haha), and the NPCs have a good amount of depth and likeability too. I do agree that the combat can be repetitive or boring, and I think the money you get from crops needs to be nerfed, but overall I would recommend!

I have tried to play this multiple times being that I am seasoned veteran of the farming sim genre but even with its 10th version and an arachnophobia mode (which is what stopped me from playing it before) it still felt so damn clunky. Normally I give a new farming sim an hour or two to get a hold of the mechanics, but after that hour or so it still felt like I needed another tutorial. I wanted to like this because it was a more 'adult' version of the farming sim genre but in the end, I was just left with a game that felt unfun and tedious for no reason. P.S, The arachnophobia mode is a joke because loading screens still have the damn spider along with the cut outs in the arcade.

I'm not that far in the game, but what I played i love it. Especially the characters are the most interesting and fun to interact in any SDV/SoS like farming game i ever saw, yes i even like them more than those in Stardew Valley. + Gameplay is fun, especially that you don't have a fixed time you have to sleep to not collapse. + Combat is simple fun so far + I love the characters + You can activate the intelligent tool activation, meaning you don't have to switch tools yourself, it changes itself depending on what you are aiming at (Stone, wood, crops, animals), which is a great time saver + I love Munger + you have a lot of space in your inventory + the artstyle is <3 ~ You can equip hats for stats, i wouldn't mind other clothing types that gives stats (some for farming, some for fighting for example ~ controller support is good, but sometimes a bit annoying, for example when moving stuff between your inventory and your storage. Not terrible since you can use the right stick as mouse, but a dedicated button to switch between hotbar and storage there would be nice - some things are not easy to understand how things work, for example your basic weapon is a …

I like Stardew Valley, but I don't feel, let's say, "completed" with everything I've done so far even when there's a wiki available. I thought in additions that could satisfy an impatient player like me, mechanics like fast travel, temporary perks, or even more characters... Well, Cornucopia has some of these mechanics and has things that I didn't know I wanted until I've seen these. I've been playing this game for 24 hours already and it's absolutely phenomenal. If you are a fan of farming simulators and are familiar with the mechanics of Stardew Valley, I don't know what else to say to describe the basics of this game. Instead of doing that, I wanna display the highlights of the game. Here are the main differences that Cornucopia has over Stardew Valley: -Cornucopia has signs that allow you to do fast travel to different locations while with Stardew you have to use an object to go to a location. -Cornucopia has more skills to develop. It has combat, fishing and gardening, yes, but it also includes separate skills like using the scythe, the axe, the watering can, even bombs is a skill. While with Stardew Valley you have to upgrade your tools with the time, the tools in Cornucopia…

After seeing the title screen 3 times I started the game stuck in the back of a truck which was passed on top of my first objective. Game should be called jankucopia. Lots of dating options with similarly... Proportioned women and men. Has an overall h0rny vibe. Characters look good, the town is kinda massive and sprawling and a bit ug, you enter a shop and have to hunt for the inhabitants, lots going on on screen at all times. Could be good down the track I guess. It's cheap at least!
