I do NOT recommend this game! [6/10] At first, it feels like your typical cozy farming game. Then you realize just how grindy everything is. You earn very little money, while buildings, tools, and upgrades cost a fortune. It can feel like you're constantly working just to make the smallest amount of progress. But that's just the surface of why I didn't enjoy it. As the years pass, you slowly realize you're trapped in this quiet, lonely village where everyone around you grows old and eventually dies. You spend your life building your farm, starting a family, and raising your child, only for your own character to suddenly pass away at the end, leaving your spouse and child behind. And if that wasn't depressing enough, you wake up afterward in what feels like a limbo version of this village. Everyone is alive again, but they're not really the same people anymore. They're more like echoes or mirrors of who they once were. To me, it felt like my character was trapped there forever with people who only looked familiar. I know a lot of people love this game for its message about the cycle of life, but it just left me feeling empty. I went in expecting a relaxing farming sim and came…4 found this helpful

The bar is now a café, the alcohol is now juice, the burnt out alcoholic is now an emo poet, the flirty outgoing bartender is now shy and reserved, the masculine bodybuilder is now an effeminate prettyboy, the dirty filthy hobo that used to beg for money is now a tourist, the mariachi with the sombrero is now some random guy with a ukulele, the kindhearted archeologist is now a ruthless capitalist, et cetera, et cetera. And then there's the rearranging of certain buildings and NPCs around your farm and town. Functionally it's more or less the same Harvest Moon you played ages ago. But enough little things have been altered that changed the very soul of this game. If like me you only want to get this for the nostalgia - don't. Nostaglia based love
You guys have no idea how happy i am to be able to play A Wonderful Life on my PC!!! Was obsessed with this back on gamecube and its so cute & fun still!! best part is it runs good on my surface laptop! included my specs. The game plays easily and well on PC. Its easy to operate and play, the animals are so cute, esp the cows!!
