✦ AI summary

Players are divided on this city-builder hybrid, praising its dark atmosphere, interesting vertical building mechanics, and engaging story that blends Frostpunk and strategy elements, but criticizing incomplete execution with balance issues, unclear mechanics that don't match their descriptions, and content that feels more like early access than a finished product. While some find it worth the price with good pacing and artwork, others warn against the full asking price, suggesting it needs several patches to realize its potential, and a recent save-file bug has created additional frustration

If you're looking for a Frostpunk fix before the reboot come out this might help out but don't expect the same level of immersion and execution. First off it has some pacing issues, game starts strong, fades in the mid-game and then falls apart completely in the late game. I had to force myself to keep playing through the final chapter just because I hate not finishing anything I start. The world map portion of the game does add some variety and maybe they will flesh it out more in future but the interest dwindles soon as you realise that there isn't much extra depth there. The game also has some of the most awful voice acting I've ever heard. Only buy when it's on a deep discount!

Pretty fun game so far. It kinda gives me Frostpunk vibes, but the mechanics are different enough that it doesn’t feel like a copy. Took me a little bit to understand everything at first, but once it starts clicking, it gets pretty addicting. I like that you actually have to think about what you’re doing and manage things instead of just going through the motions. Still playing through it but I’m enjoying it so far. Definitely worth checking out if you like survival/management games.

If once a year Steam gave me the option to give one game a double thumbs down, this would be the game I would use it on.

This game has poor game mechanics, a very strange choices for different missions and is very clunky. I would not recommend this game
