But nature isn’t the only thing to worry about: Refugee crises, unrest, disease outbreaks – the list of challenges is long. You will have to make crucial decisions, many of them painful, to avert the downfall of your civilization.

Enrich their life with entertainment, prevent diseases and improve your people’s health by providing medical facilities. With every new member of your community you get closer to re-discovering the forgotten technologies of the old world.
As your settlement develops into an industrial city, running on fuel and burning coal, a whole new level of productivity opens up to you. Mass-production, automation, factories feeding factories via complex systems of conveyor belts. Modernize your workforce by training your people in these specialized tasks.
Each era has the potential to improve your production as well as the lives of your people, giving you access to numerous new buildings. As your settlement develops into an industrial city, running on fuel and burning coal, a whole new level of productivity opens up to you.

In my experience, games fall into three groups: Group 1 — Not for me. You start it, and within a few hours you realize it isn't for you. Years of experience and self-awareness reduce how often this happens, but it still does from time to time. Group 2 — Finished and done. You play it for roughly 30 hours, finish it, and nothing new is likely to come from a second run. Most games fall into this group. Group 3 — Hundred-hour games. The games worth your money and your time. Two subgroups: 3a — Repeatable. Like Civilization. You start a new world and each world is a new kind of fun. 3b — Long story. A single campaign so deep it takes you ages to finish. Wartales is a good example. You don't replay the same title, but you can return to the genre with a new story. This is a great example of 2 and it is a little better than it is double time at least4 found this helpful
Very Good Game
This game has good bones, but is lacking identity. I'm recommending it because it's a solid game for being early access and has time to improve. It's clear how much inspiration it takes from Frostpunk - from the menu styles and fonts to the art - but it lacks the same unique mechanics that makes Frostpunk so interesting, cold and fuel. Despite being set in a (post-)apocalyptic world, I never felt like my community faced actual hardship or need because I could crank out basically any resource I needed to astronomical levels that I didn't need to balance so much as overproduce. In the few hours I played there was little to no story and I did not feel like I learned anything new about the world. That being said, for an early access game it works and has decent production trees. They feel kind of inconsequential if only because I don't have any greater overarching goal and so I don't really care besides 'number go up,' again lacking the same sort of urgency or pressure that Frostpunk creates via its world design. There are some things I would like to see changed - technology tree needs to be redesigned more clearly, I should be able to see what laws I've enacted, etc. The UI right …
First off, I am running at Ultra settings with VSYNC turned off. This game has a great concept and if you are into city builders this game will be up your alley. In it's current state most of it works. There is some balance issues that need to be worked but over all it isn't bad. On Ultra settings it pegs my video card at 100%, CPU at 50% and memory at 40% usage so make sure your PC is up to the challenge. Most of the elements are intuitive so there isn't a step learning curve. Some of the goals to upgrade to a new tier are stupid but in the long run of the game are necessary. You do have to micro manage your resource gathering and production so if that turns you off this isn't the game for you. You have to keep a close eye on your storehouse due to all the resources you need will not show up on the three different resource bars. It is still a work in progress so you have to expect some things like that. I am eager to see the final product of this game. It shows thought, polish and above average execution that a lot of early access games miss. Highly recommended.
Did like the game but it kept on getting too overwhelming to manage. like the types of resources. It got hard to handle like 100 different types resourcest. Didnt know what was running out at one point so had to stop the game
Plenty of mechanics to understand and get your head round. On medium difficulty it seems easy!
