About Channel 453

🎩 Beyond the screen, a man who should not know you is watching.
His name is Liotte.
From inside the television, he speaks to you — as though he has been waiting for your arrival.

“What would you say to someone who is obsessed with you?”

Channel 453 is a one-on-one interactive visual novel that explores trust, anxiety, obsession, and the meaning of “true love.”The kindness in front of you may not remain kindness.
Behind devotion lies something deeper — loneliness… or something far more unsettling.

i can't say i particularly recommend it, it's fine and interesting at first but from the second route onwards, the longer you play the more the dialogue sounds like AI writing. somewhere around the middle until the end, the dialogues feel equivalent to a c.ai roleplay to the point that it's hard to enjoy the story or the character progressions, which the game also fell short on. and i am no writing expert, but the story failed to explain or show to me why or how liotte was able to
be convinced to let go of the contract and
change his mind, it all felt very flat,
as it seemed to me like he barely put any resistance despite being obsessed with the perfect ending with the mc to the point of 'looping' through different 'worlds' and creating new branches for so long
. not to mention the things the story never explains or elaborates on. although the interactive sections are interesting, the ui itself feels and looks unpolished and clunky. for example, when you turn on auto or skip, you just don't know when or if it's even on or not, as there's no indicator, plus the default settings are just generally bad. tldr, as this game would put it; it's not…

Just finished all the routes and the CGs. As someone who rarely play otome (I play quite VN though, just rarely the otome one), this game actually caught my eyes. Thanks to Liotte being the cover dude, he's actually one of the reason why I wishlisted this game lol. The CGs, all pretty and eye-catching, soft-drawn. I love Liotte by the way. 💕 Storywriting, it's sweet and interesting. I'd say could be better though in the way how they delivered, because sometimes it's a little hard to understand what's going on. I wonder if it's due to the way they translated? Still it's fun, a friendly way to introduce someone to VN especially since it's not taking too much time to collect them all (depends on how fast you read or click. I AFK'd a lot, so it took times for me hahaha). Also to otome genre (with a little jumpy spicing things up). It's actually interesting the way the characters talk to each others, I'd say there's no cheesy stuff.
But I guess Liotte a little cheesy knowing his background.
Few gimmicks I found it's interesting; keeping the tension going, making the players not just clicking some clicks. You'll understand if you play the game hahaha. Lastly, as…

This is really good even for just 2 hours. I recommend getting all the endings to get all the CG's which are breathtakingly gorgeous. This has one of the most beautiful CG's ever and it's just two handsome otome men. All the endings are worth it. All three routes are worth it. 10/10 worth it at full price and don't read any spoilers. I recommend getting the good endings first after the first route with Liotte. I thought I liked Ivan better but they both are equally good.
