You’ve finally hung up your adventuring boots and are about to settle down but destiny has other plans for you. First review and first visual novel of the new year…Happy New Year everyone!
Gameplay & Settings
After the adventure of a lifetime you’ve decided to settle down with your other guildmates and enjoy life but things do not go quite according to plan. As if stopping an evil cult wasn’t enough and having to kill your guild leader on top of things he shows back up again…or someone who at least looks like him. This is a novel with a heavy emphasis on the story so there is a lot of reading with choices for the reader to make each chapter. There are plenty of save slots to save at choice points so you can easily reload to get alternate endings once playing through the first time. 🌶️ Spice Level - Medium. Settings & extras include; display options, skip text options, text speed, a…14 found this helpful
I enjoyed this game. the concept pulled me in and kept me interested. I did kinda feel like it ended abruptly, although I only got one ending so maybe some of the other endings explore the other relationships in the group?2 found this helpful
a delightfully melancholy vn about a fractal identity colliding with an established life and the consequences of how what stories we are told define us. that, a memorable side cast, and an excellent presentation make for a vn where the only complaint i can fairly lodge is that there isn't more of it2 found this helpful
Beautiful soundtrack. I can have trouble relaxing into stories that are slow-paced and pretty, but the melancholy vibes put me into the mourning mindset of the protagonist. The art direction is deeply pleasing; it’s the spark of life in a somber mood. Lovely without falling into dreariness.1 found this helpful

there were a lot of choices, but most of them are just for flavor, aside from
the one about the bridge
. a story about a trans man struggling to not deadname a cis man.
