Inspired by the adventure and imagination that we love from classic science-fiction, No Man's Sky presents you with a galaxy to explore, filled with unique planets and lifeforms, and constant danger and action. In No Man's Sky, every star is the light of a distant sun, each orbited by planets filled with life, and you can go to any of them you choose. Fly smoothly from deep space to planetary surfaces, with no loading screens, and no limits. In this infinite procedurally generated universe, you'll discover places and creatures that no other players have seen before - and perhaps never will again.

An epic voyage to the centre of a shared universe awaits, allowing you to explore, trade, fight and survive alone or with friends.

Embark on an epic voyage

At the centre of the galaxy lies an irresistible pulse which draws you on a journey towards it to learn the true nature of the cosmos. But, facing hostile creatures and fierce pirates, you'll know that death comes at a cost, and survival will be down to the choices you make over how you upgrade your ship, your weapon and suit.

Find your own destiny

Your voyage through No Man's Sky is up to you. Will you be a fighter, preying on the weak and taking their riches, or taking out pirates for their bounties? Power is yours if you upgrade your ship for speed and weaponry. Or a trader? Find rich resources on forgotten worlds and exploit them for the highest prices. Invest in more cargo space and you'll reap huge rewards.
Or perhaps an explorer? Go beyond the known frontier and discover places and things that no one has ever seen before. Upgrade your engines to jump ever farther, and strengthen your suit for survival in toxic environments that would kill the unwary.

Share your journey

The galaxy is a living, breathing place. Trade convoys travel between stars, factions vie for territory, pirates hunt the unwary, and the police are ever watching. Every other player lives in the same galaxy, and you can choose to share your discoveries with them on a map that spans known space. Perhaps you will see the results of their actions as well as your own...

✦ AI summary

Players praise the game as an addictive space exploration sim with incredible depth, engaging content, and satisfying ship-building mechanics that can captivate players for hours. However, common complaints center on the lengthy, intrusive tutorial sequence with constant popups that feels hand-holding and difficult to skip, particularly frustrating for returning players who just want to jump back in and explore freely.

Always wanted to play this game since initial released, glad i waited so long. Incredible game, perfect for ADHD hyper focus. For some this may be slow paced, but that's half the fun, defs recommend.

The best way to describe this game is a mix between eleite dangerous and subnautica. A great addicting space sim with lots of entertaining content. My favourite part so far is the corvette building, I made a cool spaceship based on the Arquitens class imperial light cruiser using glitch techniques. I would reccomend learning the techniques or the building system becomes very blocky. It does get a little laggy with my laptop (intergrated graphics) but on my desktop it runs super smooth (low-mid end). Usally it stays at $85 and goes on sale for $35, this trend is consistant as far as I have been monitoring the price so don't expect any lower prices. The initial tutorial is a bit slow and early game but once you have played a bit its easy. !!!Disclamer, there is a way to get exclusive items and give you anything in normal survival, its called save editing but after you do it you might become less motivated after doing it. Wouldn't reccomend using this technique!!! Tips for early game: Use youtube to help with farming credits, Etc, Try get a sentinal or exotic ship, dont do corvette until later, when you make a corvette use the farming technique for corvette parts, DOUBLE CHECK …

INSANELY COOL GAME JUST STARTED

Fantastic game! I did not expect this amount of content from a 10 year old game. It's highly interactive and the quests create phenomenal stories. Love the game :)

Good game, Great game, even an Amazing game. Also, LET ME SKIP THE MF ARTEMIS PATH WHEN I WANT TO! Like, for real, I haven't played in 5 years and I thought doing the tutorial/ Artemis Path would be fine... Yeah no, I don't need to do a 4-6 hour boring, hand holding, tutorial. My suggestion to all new players, as long as you don't mind being shoe horned and constant popups, it's worth it. (This is true for all modes even creative) My favorite part about exploration games IS NOT HAVING A WINDOW POPUP EVERY OTHER SECOND TELLING ME TO DO SOMETHING!!! I wanted to come back and play this game, but the choice between a 200+ hour save that will take me 4-5 hours to re figure out what I have, what I was doing, and re-organize or a 4-5 hour annoying pop, hand holding, smooth brain, face dragging mission set... I just uninstalled, I'm not even motivated enough to do it for my friends.
