For an MMORPG built around killing monsters, leveling up, collecting equipment, PvP and conquering content, 1.76复古沉默 has surprisingly little in the way of Steam integration. There are no Steam achievements to give players any additional goals or progression milestones, despite there being plenty of obvious opportunities for them. The game also feels like a very niche free-to-play experience, and with the Steam version now retired and removed from the store, there is even less reason to invest time into it. 1.76复古沉默 is a free to play action RPG that is very clearly built around the classic Legend style of MMORPG. I spend my time killing monsters, gaining levels, finding equipment and getting stronger, with the bigger goal of eventually taking part in large PvP battles such as guild wars and the famous siege of 沙巴克. It has that old school MMO feeling where getting a better piece of equipment can make a noticeable difference. The combat is simple and easy to get into. A lot of the early game is about moving through areas, killing enemies and picking up better gear, so I can get into the progression without having to learn a complicated combat system. The faster pace and relatively high drop rates also make the early progression feel quite rewarding. The equipment system is where I start seeing more depth. There are special equipment pieces, Soul Artifacts, equipment unlocking, talents and different upgrade systems to work through. I can also choose between different character builds and decide which parts of my progression I want to focus on first.
