Decent chinese horror game.

A solid indie-horror/walking-simulator that has a loop mechanic where the game slowly changes and gets weirder each loop. The atmosphere is solid and this is probably the best Chinese indie-horror game I've played.

Very good game. A lot of scary jumpscares though. Do not play it unless you are very brave

8/10 Decent horror game that reminds me a lot of Emika's games. It is in Chinese and is pretty easy to understand the translations we get. The only issue was the text stretching outside the screen sometimes, but it didn't effect completing the game overall. The pacing of the story was good, a lot better than others I've played where you walk back and forth until something happens. Instead this game has you walk in a loop and will let you know when to retrace your path which I found very helpful. The graphics are done well. There were plenty of eerie and unsettling moments in this game which is a nice change. No screaming jumpscares, but a few well placed scares had me jumping in my seat. There are plenty of batteries which is a blessing since it is one of the main mechanics to this game. I really never had to worry about running out after I combined all the batteries I found, which I was grateful for since I got confused in the basement level, and the multiple door level took me a bit to work through. Overall I enjoyed my playthrough. I don't know if it has enough content to be 8 dollars worth, as I bought it on sale, but I would say it's worth the cash.

Nice, short looping horror game. The atmosphere is really good. I loved the environment -- it felt detailed and carefully put together. The scares were well-directed, including both subtle spooks and more traditional jump-scares. The story came through well, though it does rely on notes and on screen narration a bit too much, in my opinion. The English translation is understandable, although some lines are not translated and other text gets cut off the edges of the screen for some reason. I got stuck on a few levels. There's a part where you need to crouch, but the game doesn't tell you that you can. I wandered around in my own personal hell for about twenty minutes before checking the (untranslated) keybinds and seeing CTRL listed. I then got stuck in level 14 to 15. Something didn't trigger properly (as I found when I went to look for a video walkthrough) so I couldn't transition to another area. I wandered back and forth between those two floors for ages. I had to reload in the end, and it worked. The final area is quite stylistically different, and basically explains the story to you again, which feels unnecessary.
