經典三國大富翁遊戲，老玩家回味紀念版。
有四位主公可供選擇，分別是劉備、曹操、孫權及董卓。這四個角色各自擁有不同的屬性，最多可採四人同玩，誰先佔領所有的城池便可一統天下。
可選的戰鬥模式仍是富甲天下系列經典的「單挑」、「野戰」及「攻城」。
城池經營增加了「建物」設計，如「市集」可提高稅金收入、「護城河」可以增加城池的防禦力、「糧倉」可加快人口成長、「練兵場」可訓練士兵，「兵營」可進行徵兵，「書院」可增加駐城武將的智力。
遊戲中有許多有趣的計謀，像是使敵方主公原地停留一次的「故步自封」、引誘對手走到您指定的地方的「調虎離山」、破壞敵方城中的一項建設的「過河拆橋」、將對手的武將挖角過來的「欲擒故縱」等，這些計謀可在錦囊鋪中買到或由隨機事件獲得。
新增的有趣及特殊的場景包括了賭場、聚賢莊、醫館等。如果愛將的智商不夠，還可以到經閣買經書以增加智力。
