"2D Dawg 2" is not a game, it's an e-book that's been dumped on Steam masquerading as a game. As a visual/interactive novel, this doesn't feature any notable gameplay, it's just a lot of clicking through badly written dialogue that would never have been accepted or published in print, which poses the question, "How did something this badly written end up on Steam?". When someone hoping to become an author is unable to get published in print, they spend $100 and dump their high school fan-fiction onto Steam, under the guise of a game. This garbage e-book tests the very limits of cringe... and breaks them. The only thing more cringey than a furry fan-fiction on Steam is a Russian furry fan-fiction on Steam. Who knew Russia had furries... well, we all know now. So yeah, this is a high school anime club dropout furry fan-fiction about the authors imaginary Russian furry girlfriend. For a visual novel/adventure with puzzles, quests, decisions and secret collectibles, 2D Dawg 2 is surprisingly barebones on Steam. There are no Steam achievements or Trading Cards, despite plenty of obvious opportunities such as completing the story, finding the secret items and reaching the different outcomes. The game is also very short, with a typical playthrough taking around an hour or two, and the lack of English support makes the humour and story inaccessible to a large part of the Steam audience. It's free and clearly has its fans, but there isn't much here for achievement hunters or players outside its Russian-speaking audience.
