A third of the game's playtime is devoted to a tutorial, which, given this is a walking simulator, is wholly unnecessary and serves only to detract from the rest of the setting and story. While it doesn’t overstay its welcome and leaves you wanting more, the different choices encourage you to experience the story and its outcome in different ways. For a student project this is quite good, but I can't think I can recommend it to people to actually sit down and play it. You're a doctor in a - presumably - dystopian society. For no reason that is ever explained you've decided to accept a job a a button presser in a government medical facility, where you will proceed to make zero use of your skills as a medical doctor. Your choices are to either follow the toddler-level instructions given to you by a machine or to do the bidding of some obscure rebel faction with unclear motives by doing the exact opposite. Your average workday seems to be about 10 minutes long, after which you go home and speak to a faceless member of your family. It seems to be going for themes like ethical medical dilemmas and standing up to oppression, but there's zero depth or context to any of it. Boiled down, you're just making a series of uninformed binary choices.
