A Little Golf Journey

A very calming and fun golf game. Great physics, soothing music. Frustration level relatively minimal thanks to instant unlimited retries. Gets fun and weird toward the end.

at first it looks a good relaxing game, with a lot of challenges on courses, to get full stars you have the precise shots, which can be challenging but fun, would have given this a thumbs up. Potential to be a top game if not for the ridiculous timer puzzles on some courses, which completely ruins the game, therefore game uninstalled.

Very chill and ambient golf game. Lovely environments and very relaxing soundtrack. I'm just coming through the second "course", but there are winding paths and secret skill shots to find and conquer.

Really enjoyable game. It's the type of game where you'll know if it's for you just from watching the trailer (as they say, it's a physics based puzzler full of secrets moreso than a golf game). I'm 9 hours in, have loved every moment (especially the tougher holes that require a bit of theory work and timing ability to get the max stars). Also while it's cool they have accessability options, I think the default settings are fine-tuned well to offer a great experience (challenging without demanding perfection).

A really enjoyable take on golf with a puzzle flavor. Game has a ton of courses to complete and a great visual style. Hunting through the levels for the secrets was a real treat. I did pass on level 9-13. I just didn't feel like it was fun repeating those shots over and over trying to get the timing down. However, that was one bad level out of dozens of great ones and it is a high challenge for those that enjoy that. I would love to see more games like this.

I understand "comfy" and "cozy" are cliche buzzwords in the present gaming environment, but this game is just plain pleasant the whole way around. Just some fast, simple golf (actual golf, not just putt-putt), on the most adorable little diorama courses (with a tilt-shift blurring effect to make them look tiny), sublime lighting and environmental effects to sell them as being physical places. You could easily just duff your way to the finish, but if you want to score well, it's a game that rewards thinking off the beaten path and exploring. Which is unusual for a golf game. Exploring each hole tends to reveal interesting shortcuts, collectibles, even elaborate secret areas with some of the most devious platforming challenges I've seen since the last time I tried a random Super Mario World hack. That, coupled with the overworld map, makes this a game I'd happily recommend to people who normally play 3D platformers, and not just the golf game sickos like me.
