+ Obstacles were ok, even satisfying in places, except the death-barriers were obnoxiously unnecessary, and invisible walls are a-plenty. I could not get far in the underground temple area as simply descending the mountain is illegal. The constant 'Optional' task is to explore, however you can't due to those inviso & death barriers. One of the 'features' on the store page is "Free-running elements" except it's all platform jumping. - No sound, repetative music. The Alps music was actually grandios, but replays instead of looping. - No shadow under the character, but there's a bit of air-control. - No animations on switches, except in 1 level, where it's a sphere lowering into a cylinder. - Changing sound level does not work as there's no 'Apply Changes' button. - It's possible to set your FPS to 0.05. It's good that it's free.

"A Series of Temporal Mishaps" is a badly made 3D platformer where you journey through various eras of Earth's history (that presumably the developers could find on Unreal Marketplace/FAB)... which generally involves platforming and flicking the odd switch. Comical premises can only go so far, they need to be underpinned by solid technical delivery, which this lacks. What do you do in the game? Some of the worst first person parkour platforming ever to offend Steam Direct. Zero playtesting has been done, it's loose and janky and imprecise (and inconsistent). Platforming is a largely dead genre that relies on absolutely tight control feel and handling, none of which is present in this mess. I'm not sure if this is an asset flip, but it's one of those cases where the assets just look much better than the rest of the quality of the game... a glaring inconsistency. There's no evidence, but as always, the biggest problem with asset flips besides the plagiarism is the deplorably low quality of the other aspects of the game, and even if the game assets are genuinely created for the game, the quality of the rest of the game is indistinguishable from that of asset flips. Now on to p…
