A Walk With My Dog

Pretty cool cozy game with the creator's dog Ezio. It was more than just a walking sim which I liked quite a bit, especially the jigsaw puzzles that are scattered around the map which were made in a very good way. For example, If I know a piece is on the bottom right of another one, I can place it there since it's all freeform drag and drop without a grid, and when I find the piece that connects both of them I can drop it on there and they will all connect seamlessly, not sure how the dev did this but it was nice. The easter eggs were cool, everything has an achievement so you can keep track of what you've done and what you've missed out on. It's a good one or potentially two hours of fun if you want to see everything. The pictures and videos scattered about are amazing. The dog is cute obviously, but the scenery and the nature is photographed well, while playing It made me wish I was out there. Also like a lot of people I initially thought this was some horror game, I'm glad that it wasn't :)

This game is way more powerful than you would expect. Cozy and relaxing but also for anyone who has lost a close furry friend it is very cathartic. The simple gameplay with emotional keystones throughout is genuinely more immersive than I was expecting. I can't possibly recommend this game highly enough as an experience. 11/10 no notes.

What a beautiful, cozy game. I didn't find this game until after Ezio passed away, but watching the videos and seeing the pictures of him and spending time with him in this game really made him important to me. I think of the pets I've lost (RIP Tiny Cat) and the people I've lost, and I have replayed this game more than once just wanting to imagine taking a walk with them. I'm having a little trouble with some of the achievements. I think you have to throw rocks at lily pads? But I try to throw a rock and it goes 27 miles away no matter how far away from the lily pad I am when I throw or where I aim. Still, I'm going to keep trying. I am so glad I purchased this game. If you can get past the melancholy, it is a very cozy, relaxing game, with closure as you can say goodbye at the church. I can see myself getting very ritualistic with the time I spend playing this game and when I will revisit it in my life. Definitely worth the price, and more. It's a great, relatively full game. (My favorite part is how challenging the puzzles are. They're not many pieces, but they take effort!) Thank you to the developer for sharing Ezio with us.

It's reassuring to know that one day i'll gonna need a walk and i'll have your game. But today is not that day ! I'm gonna throw a couple of squeaky toy to my dog in honor of Ezio! And one last thing Niko , you took good care of him, so never forget that and never doubt it! Until you and him meet again.
