About Adventures of Skye the Slime Maid
After departing from his old team, the protagonist of the game: Alex Goldstone, is now a solo Adventurer exploring the land of Bromwich. He currently helps the city of Tipton with its new Guild Centre with other Adventurers that complete quests for the community.
After weeks of assisting Tipton, Alex became a respectable Guild member to the townsfolk. He's doing well at his starting point, but everything changes when he encounters a slime.
A beautiful and noisy goddess named Larissa, the goddess of life and fertility, saw Alex save the slime from a wolf attack, and he took it home.
To reward the lone Adventurer for his rare act of kindness, she transforms the slime into a magical humanoid slime maid to serve her new master.
Since it’s Skye’s new dream to be an Adventurer like her master, Alex enrolls her to become a new Guild member for Tipton.
Alex and Skye will have many missions, fight choice-based creatures and bosses, and meet new friends along the way. The bond between Alex and Skye will grow into a romance, and we'll learn more about Alex's past in this comedy-romance, drama, fantasy, and fake RPG themed visual novel. Join their quest!

Disclaimer: I will play through some more and revisit this review if my impression changes. I am a slow reader... Nice diversion when compared to your typical Japanese style depictions of maid-filled VNs. Some decent voice acting, lore and artwork in parts...shows promise. Next version suggestions: Tighten the prose - have acquaintances proof read multiple times if the budget cannot go for a professional proof-reader. A mix of American English and British English wording is fine in my opinion (speaking as a Brit who watched loads of American TV growing up) but spelling improvements and word substitution may both enhance the game. Character reactions - might want to consider if the Guild normally sends maids off with warriors to fight - I think Fairy Tail got away with it by giving the audience an impression of the Guild already being zany. In contrast, Lisbeth didn't bat an eyelid? Good lore - the goddess is depicted perfectly as a creator-being. More details like this. Interaction - I found myself having fun acting out Alex's lines...maybe embellishing one or two things here or there. I'd strongly recommend that style of play-through. I will play through some more and r…2 found this helpful
I backed the game on kickstarter. The game has so much potential. The art is great, the play itself is decent, but the writing is atrocious. It's sadly clear that the devs grasp of English is not nearly as good as they think it is. Among the many mistakes are: * Use of American on some words and European spelling on others * Singular/Plural mistmatches in sentances. * Strange word choices that don't make sense. (IE: Prize instead of Praise is very common). * Word choice in general. IE: so many times when of was used in places where it should be in and vice versa. That alone is bad enough, but there are so, so many times when the Voice acting doesn't even match up with whats written. And speaking of voice acting: Sky sounds like a nasally kid, which really is jarring for the "sexy" times.2 found this helpful
Personally, I feel a little disappointed and cheated with this game. The game is a little to short taking only 2 or so hours to read and get every thing. Was hoping for more choices/paths with the other female characters in the game, but there is none. I think the choices are pointless. The characters are fair and the voicework is only ok. And the story is pretty bland. Plus I think the asking price even with sale is too much. The only positives is it has nice enough artwork and a nice story concept that could of worked with better story/plot. So I would not recommend this game. Maybe wait for update/DLC with more character paths/ending, maybe a re-vamped plot. Or spend/save money on better visual novels, or wait until they release.2 found this helpful
Thankful the game has an entire voice cast, beautiful character designs & backgrounds, and an easy-listening OST. Would love a sequel or follow-up to this series, as I found myself fascinated with this world. Though I felt the dialogue text needed another read thru before being released, to fix any typos throughout. Overall, the game was quite enjoyable and worth yer time.2 found this helpful
A good VN with a nice premise. The art and music work well together, and the story keeps curios of it If you enjoy indie VN, this one is worth to checking out. PS Aloha
A decent game, with some good romance writing, easy to catch references and nice art, though the spelling errors were noticeable at the mid point of the game to the point where it took me out of it a little bit. The game is still fun enough, but I think a patch for the errors if possible would be help make the game more accessable.
