Aery - A Journey Beyond Time

Interesting story but the lighting is way too bright on some levels and the hit box is unforgiving barely touched a tree. Too bad start over. The graphics a pleasant and the music is nice but unbalanced to the narrator volume as it very quiet. The checkpoints to hit to continue the story are hard to find at times. While I did enjoy the story it's not worth some of the downsides.

This is certainly an improvement from the first in the series. There is meaning and story to the game now. Which adds some more depth and reason to keep going through. The recording quality for the voiceover is something to look past, it cannot be heard over the audio most times. Audio (music) in general is less repetitive than the first title and has an 80's arcade theme throughout which is cool when flying. The colour palette is much more vivid than the first, and the environments have so much more going on. Controls and actual gameplay haven't changed from the first title, basic but fun. Could have done with a 'flap' button for those impatient people like myself. All in all, a much better game - although achievements don't work - AGAIN. Recommend picking up in a sale or bundle.

this was one of the several "Aery" games i received through a random steam key collection i purchased. for the record - i was not expecting something really amazing. however, for what i got - it was.... interesting. the graphics are cute, and it looks like some effort was but into the scenery (given that the scenery is all you seem to be able to admire, anyways). the story is there... but its pretty basic imo. more than anything, it feels like a feather collecting simulator. its ok. not the best though. if you're **really** bored, its okay...

Achievements do not work. Aside from that it is not worth 10€. Got it as part of some key bundles and thus it is OK. But overall, not maintained game und just a pile of trash.

Boring, bad controls and achievement don't work.

This game sucks mainly because of the lack of control. No mouse??? Only AWSD. no speed control no brakes. And if you bump into literally anything, you have to start all over.
