AI Olympius embodies all the old-school energy of (the equivalent) Mass Effect trilogy and games of that time era. It's jank, it's not the prettiest thing out there, but it's so full of heart and soul. Devs frequently update it fixing bugs and the like- in our Gaben's year of 2026, where most games are psychological minefields disguised as luxury storefronts, AI Olympius is an easy recommend for those looking for a third person shooter diving into the past where games were just, video games.9 found this helpful

I've been needing a new local co-op game for me and my son. This fit perfectly. It has great grind mechanics for leveling up. I'm just hoping that devs continue to add it. So far, I'm digging it.4 found this helpful
I liked this game. If you liked the setting of Cliff Empire, then you'll like this one. AI Olympius is set in the same setting, often in structures seen in the first game, which is a source of great satisfaction for me. The story is interesting, but it has some storytelling issues. In fact, some of the choices made are truly ridiculous, not to say idiotic, considering the background (I won't spoil it), and they undermine the consistency of the story. The level design also has problems. Some maps are too big, others too small, and both types are full of invisible walls that severely limit exploration. These are often placed in areas that should be explorable but are not. I really appreciated the partial destructibility of the environment, which forces the player to play while on the move. What I didn't like was dying several times because I was hit by lasers and various shots through the intact walls of buildings. Overall, the game is good. I bought it on sale, but I think it's worth the full price. I hope to see some new expansions in the future.4 found this helpful
