About Aliosso
Aliosso is a turn-based roguelike all about combining tiles and cards to win battles and survive a perilous journey across the desert of Samsara.
Customize your tiles: place a rune, increase their trigger value, set an edition, or change their type entirely! Find the right cards that synergize with your tiles, and turn that Power into devastating strikes.
Cards represent run-altering effects that can influence just about anything. The rules are malleable, like sand.
SWAY DESTINY WITH AN OFFERING OF WATER

A DARK DJINN'S RETURN
The last surviving human clans endure a nomadic existence fraught with hardship. As generations passed, the history of Samsara faded into oblivion. Long forgotten, a dark Djinn has found its way back, driven by an insatiable desire to reclaim its full powers and extend its supreme will on the desert and beyond.

SWAY DESTINY WITH AN OFFERING OF WATER
- Prayers affect the battlefield and your run, but require a sacrifice of water.
- Rule-breaking: banish a card for the entire run or copy a tile onto another — reshape the rules in your favor.
- Will you restock on water or look for treasures?
- Use canyons, caverns, and other locations to avoid the searing heat of the desert, but beware: no place is without peril.

- 6 champions of the desert clans, each with its own run-defining power and tiles.
- 100+ cards along with card variants to influence battles and scenarios.
- Tens of tiles to make combos with or to use for their special effect.
- Tens of runes for tile upgrades and extra perks.
- Tens of prayers to use as an escape hatch in difficult situations and to steer the journey in your favor.
- Dozens of scenarios to face.
- Different locations to explore along your journey.

A good Balatro-inspired roguelike that will scratch the itch of a big numbers game, def worth it!1 found this helpful
Fantastic game!!!! It combines many mechanics from the strategy roguelike deck building space and adds another resource management on top of it! It's challenging, there's a ton of variety to try, and every character has a multitude of ways to play them!!! I would seriously consider this the best hidden gem of 2026 in the roguelike deckbuilding space!
Dice deck builder roguelike. The genre is getting bloated but some games still are able to bring some new ideas and styles to the table. This game does that. The dice/deck mechanic is interesting and the setting melds well with the gameplay making me feel like I slinging glyphs at all the desert themed enemies. I recommend this if you want to feel like an Egyptian dice god.
Balatro but not polished. Cool skin I guess.
this game is like mahjong meets slay the spire 10/10 would recommend
11 hour review: It's a fun card roguelite game, similar in some ways to Slay the Spire etc. Definitely opens up as you play. Lots of things to discover and strategies to employ. Active devs looking to improve the game! original review: It's a fun card roguelite game, similar in some ways to Slay the Spire etc. Enjoying it, lots of little things to discover. I think maybe the one weakness is it's so dependent on some good drops, like in Slay the Spire most of the time you can build something that works. In Aliosso you can often die in the first battle or two if you haven't gotten at least an ok drop. (And end game seems to basically about breaking a supremely overpowered deck, like you can't even use spells in the final cave which seems like a poor choice as the rest of the game you're managing or building on spells)
