another islanders-like. place various buildings, terrain modifiers and whatnot with cards to best suit your interests. this one is 2d, grid-based and pixely but same general idea. the king gave you some land and you have until the start of year 5 to settle your taxes and keep it. that's also when endless mode unlocks. there's limited energy per turn and taxes are due at the end of each year. gold comes in after every turn/month based on the current lay of the land. mouse wheel zooms, wheel click to pan. orange keywords on cards provide tooltips with an annoying and unnecessary animated delay, but additional info is only available in the card history screen in the top right. achievements unlock more cards, also for future runs, and unleash way too much confetti on the screen. they're like challenges but not much info on how to go about them and some are simply random. there's a half-assed guide somebody made, needs work. Love this game so far. After 4 hours of playing, I finally unlocked the endless mode for the first time, and only unlocked half of the achievements? Wow, so many hidden secrets to be discovered! I remember there was a card that creates the tools, I unlocked it but haven't even tried it yet. Looks like unlocking the endless mode is just a beginning of the journey, just like Balatro. We need more guides on this game, especially achievement guides, anyone? 💗1 found this helpful
Neat little game that allows you to discover rules as you play. Could see this being a 10-20 hour game.
