Run or fight: you decide your gameplay style against enemies Reality: Your character can't run, he walks too slow and when you're pressing left shift to run, nothing changes. Second option - fight with your flashlight. It partly works but there's no visual difference when you press a button to make your light stronger. Also enemies appear very suddenly and you often don't know from which side they're coming. And they're killing from one touch. So you just don't have a time to fight against them. 2. Adaptive and random AI: every time you play will be differently challenging Reality: Game is very scripted, all jumpscares and enemies clearly written in the program so you know what and where exactly will be when you're playing more than 1 time. And you will play more than 1 time because you probably will die and start from the beginning cause there's no checkpoints. 3. Completely free en…24 found this helpful
Hey its pretty good for what it is, sure there is room for improvement, but the game has a lot to offer if you like the horror genre. Jumpscare galore! theres a lot of jumpscares, not just cheap ones tho, i kinda like that something seem to happen all the time, keeps you on the toes. and the jumpscares are different, so you dont really know what to expect. But its a nice little game, worth checking out for sure. gg7 found this helpful
Pretty bad horror game. The graphics are ugly, it's full of jump scares, it's not fun, movement is very slow, you can't run, it's super boring. If you die, you start at the beginning of the level, btw. enemies kill you in one hit. Also just one hour long. Stay away from this one.3 found this helpful
This is a very difficult game. I do not think that I will be able to beat it due to the combat mechanics and buggy way the AI spawns. The way the game combat mechanics function make it so that it is unnecessarily hard to get very far without getting killed and having to restart each level. Eventually the voice over at the start of each level becomes like nails on a chalkboard and I exited because I didn't want to listen to the same thing over and over. What's worse is that you have these big awkward hands in your view the entire time you are playing. They partially obstructed my view and felt incredibly clunky. My problem with combat is that you have two options. Neither of which are very great. First, you can try to run, but running is not running at all. It isn't even a quick walking pace. Trying to run only works if you are already far ahead of the mob when it spawns. If you're unlucky, it spawns on top of you and you can't react or run away fast enough. Ugh. The second option is to use your flashlight to focus the beam and sort of 'disperse' the AI unit that is pursuing you. This is also tricky when they spawn on top of you. You can try to back away, but you move at a snai…3 found this helpful
I was excited at first... the game does not look so bad but it is awfully hard, and not very well done. The enemies are atrouciously frustrating fo face. They are fast, stiff and you instantly die when they catch you, this is the cheapest way possible to make an enemy. Also they take ages to kill with the flaslight, and they are just too fast for you to kill, unless you see them from far away. Yes you can also hide, but hiding a lot of times is not even possible. I wonder if the developer even played his own game before putting it on steam. Such a bad game design! The level design is not the worst but the way that obstacles are placed in a level is ridiculous. Your character is very slow, and you need to double click instead of just one click in order for your character to do any action such as pick up things, open doors, etc... also double clicking turns your flashlight on and off. LOL. Very bad game design indeed. And even if it may have some scare potential along the way, I may never find out, because I uninstalled the game already, and until things are fixed I'm not going to touch it again... Which it may very well be never, since it has seen zero updates since its launch, whic…2 found this helpful
10$ for this game is RIDICULOUS!!! The game is slow. The controller doesn't work properly. It has a HUGE delay. The graphics don't match with the flashlight nor the hands of the character. Do not recommend it.1 found this helpful
