Almost Castaways

It doesn't have the most visual fidelity in its renders, or the most inventive minigames, or a large gallery for your harem (which you don't have). But it has incredibly fun banters, great character chemistry, and an all-around kinky and wholesome sapphic story.

I'm 4.5 hours in, on day 10 in-game, and loving this. I don't know why it hasn't had a higher profile within the genre. I was looking for something other than another AVN to chill to. This promised a survival game cross-over, which is another genre I like, which sounded interesting. As a change from the usual male MC and inexplicable harem set-up, this is the story of a female MC and her co-castaway - and for once, the female characters seem to be written by a woman (or someone who has actually met a woman, at least}. The relationship between the two characters develops gradually and genitally - and the lewd scenes are only what I can describe as "nice" (I mean that as a compliment and in contrast to the predominant wham-bam style). This is still a linear AVN story, rather than a standbox though (at least in normal difficulty). There isn't _really_ a free-roam aspect, but there are free activity choices to fill out the day between story-time, which lead to rendered scenes. Still, this is more player involvement than some games allow. Not really SteamDeck ready - I play on a docked deck, and needed the blu tooth mouse and keyboard to play. It is almost annoyingly good. Over the 28 days on the island, the characters chat and change enough that they are memorable and well-rounded. Though the only truly impactful choices are at the end, smaller ones along the journey were quite neat. The story is much more plausible than I expected (though Q.Q.'s entire character is... an outdated stereotype at best), and can be played with or without romance or sex. There IS crafting, which I found great because it takes into account the materials - you don't start from a campfire and end up at functioning airplane. The renders are pretty, the (optional, again) sex scenes are hot, intimate and cover a wide variety of kinks, DESPITE the game being more than a vehicle to deliver said scenes. The only minus I can think of is that there are achievements in the game, but not outside of it, on Steam. Overall, a much more pleasant experience than I was expecting, and not overlong. Try your hand at becoming a(n almost) castaway!

Yeah, I really liked this one. Good story, good characters. There is certainly a lot of sex. The downside is that there are pretty much no animations and the sex scenes are a bit of a slide show of stills... but it worked at the same time too. As far as AVN's go, this one is in the top for me.

The game is amazing. An hard erotic fairy tale. The characters are so live, and the story ... It feels as if have read a great warm book. Thank you devs. I will read it again in some time ...
