SUMMARY
Bathed in the light of the moon, a giant rose blooms in full glory. It hangs darkly in the night sky, suspended in space some 380,000 km from Earth. With its true name and nature unknowable, humans have taken to calling it “Consuelo.”
In Bayshore Daiba City, life goes on in the Red Zone—a lawless slum sealed off and forsaken since a Thorn impacted the Earth’s surface from space, devastating Tokyo and infesting ground zero with monsters. It is here that STX Space Force pilot Miriya Hakone first encounters one Ichizo Yodaka, a former elite pilot now fighting Consuelo alone from aboard his trusty Battle-SHEEP...

When Ichizo hijacks her electric SHEEP, HAL,
she traces his steps to a black-market auction house.

She may be a first-rate mom, but as a SHEEP, she’s scrap metal.
Says things like, “My oh my!” in soft-spoken, ladylike tones.
“Oh, are you sleeping there again?
I can’t imagine you’ll sleep well like that...”

A brigadier general with the STX Space Force.
Despite her baby-faced looks, she wasn’t born yesterday.
Tough to be around and a raging narcissist at the best of times.
Treats Gon like a servant, although he never seems to complain.
Once active on the front lines as an elite pilot alongside Ichizo,
she now spends her days hunting down this “disgraced fugitive.”

Fearless and reliable, but loyal foremost to Vanessa.
Unique for his trademark hairstyle and silver fur.

A researcher at the STX Space Force’s R&D Center.
Creator and father figure to all of neo-fennec kind.
Friendly from a distance, but given to icy stares,
hence the moniker “Hatred-Digesting Boa Constrictor.”
Hates Ichizo for nominating a certain young pilot
for the “Honorable Interstellar Plan” of 339 UBE.
Ostensibly oversees neo-fennec population control,
but in secret, he is investigating a 5th-dimensional ghost
on Battleship Baobab said to drift through the library of time.
“I heard you haven’t been eating.
Here, it’s a surprise present, just for you...”
LunetteVoice: Kumiko Okugawa

A mysterious lady indeed and Regulus’s personal secretary.
Immaculate yet approachable, with the kindest of smiles.
Never seen without her Black Canvas seldevice,
which was given to her by Regulus himself.
Remains calm and composed, no matter her situation.

I really like the premise so far, but I barely read anything. I have 2 hrs in record but I barely played the VN because of an annoying problem. If you're curious, I'll just post it here in the review, because I think that the underlying cause of such a problem is from the engine itself---not that I know what engine they used to create this game. Anyway, after contemplating what's really the problem, I've come to some conclusions, and it probably lies whether you use the Bordered Window or Fullscreen, but that's not all. The most probable cause would be whether you are using the auto-play function or clicking Enter-key every time you want to go to the next dialogue, the latter would probably be the problem. In the settings, there's only two options: [b]Bordered Window[/b] or [b]Full Screen[/b]. [b]Bordered Window[/b] gives me an approximately 1280x720 in 16:9, which is kinda small for me when reading. It would've been nice if I users can [i]resize the bordered window[/i], but you can't... (I don't know what engine they use, but normally, you should be able to for other VNs.) [b]Full Screen[/b] would be my cup of tea, but there's probably something wrong with the engine/processes…1 found this helpful

As this is a visual novel, I won’t explain why it’s a great one — it’s self-explanatory for anyone who knows. +1 Positive review from my end to do my duty!
It's good if you're craving some short VN with a bit of charisma. However, it's nothing special, but it's well done. The "H" is pretty standard and doesn't hit any high notes. You won't regret playing it, but it lacks the impact of longer works with more content. I'd say it's one of those games you play looking for a respite from longer ones.
It has potential I guess... I haven't read past chapter 3, the constant game freeze makes this really unenjoyable. Waiting to get patched i guess?
