About ANONYMOUS || AGONY

Anonymous Agony is an episodic story that follows the parallel stories of a teenage serial killer named Haze Stratos, and the child psychologist, Dr. James Samson. What connects them together, is Haze's sister, Clara; a victim of sexual assault and Dr. Samson's patient. You switch perspectives after every chapter (File), switching to a different character.

Haze (File #1) begins using his sister's online handle to lure sexual predators inside his home to murder, as Dr. Samson (File #2) struggles with the delicate mental state of his patient. As Haze heads towards his own downfall, Clara heads towards recovery.

More chapters will be added in the future.

ANONYMOUS || AGONY is a psychological horror experience that chooses to build its identity around disturbing human emotions and difficult themes rather than relying entirely on traditional horror elements. Instead of focusing on supernatural monsters or familiar survival horror scenarios, the game explores trauma, revenge, suffering, and moral conflict. From the beginning, it becomes clear that this is not intended to be a comfortable experience. The story follows individuals whose lives have been damaged by tragedy, leading them down paths shaped by grief and desperation. The result is a narrative-driven experience that aims to create discomfort through emotional weight rather than simple fear. One of the game's most noticeable strengths is its ambition in storytelling. Rather than presenting a straightforward sequence of events, the narrative unfolds gradually and reveals information piece by piece. Players follow Haze, a man whose life is transformed by devastating circumstances, while also experiencing another perspective through Dr. James Samson. The use of multiple viewpoints creates a broader picture of the events taking place and helps establish a world where pain and cons…

While I do enjoy the edgy nature of the story, the presentation is booty buttcheeks. The idea of walking around and aimlessly exploring specific areas of the town in some sort of nondescript order for the required dialogue scenes is already kind of questionable, since it has a negative effect on the story's pacing. The really bad part of exploring for these required dialogues is that the game can just break when it wants to. That can set you pretty far back at times if you didn't save. That's no good! I really do find the story entertaining and I understand that the game is free, but I can't give a thumbs up with the game being as busted as it is. At that same time, I would like to see a continuation, but this chapter is broken and needs an overhaul.

the worst ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing I've ever played, abysmal writing and a main character edgier than a razor blade factory. Only play this if you want to torture your friends, and can afford to lose those friends.
