Another World Adventures

It's all very well adding a new chapter and character, but you can't get there due to an earlier glitch that still hasn't been resolved despite posting in discussions. I cannot recommend in its current state.

Feels a bit like a demo game with an entire gacha system for a single character with all other gacha rolls being cheap consumables and tons of shops only selling hard bread. Not much guidance as to where to go or what to do. Very cheap consumables (3-9 gold each while mobs drop hundreds of gold) and can become overpowered very quickly by farming bosses for XP and equipment. Then enemies deal 0 damage and the AOE skill one-shots mobs, which helps given the constant battles when navigating maps. The high mob spawn rate feels like compensation for the emptiness of the maps. Might have accidentally skipped the first 5 chapters (hard to tell given lack of instructions). Also, redeeming the 40 gacha tickets just reset ticket count to zero without actually adding the new party member. Overall, somewhat enjoyed the game's simplicity, cheap consumables, and sense of discovery trying to figure out where to go next. Definitely not for everyone, but on sale can be worth the experience if overlooking bugs and lack of content. 4/10
