Things I did not love: * pixel-hunting in some situations to find the one correct one that will register the item I've found * the game penalizing me if I click too many times in the same area trying to find that one pixel * morphing objects in the hidden object puzzles. I get why it's done, I just don't dig it. * some of the puzzles were very obscure with the answers, others were so blatantly obvious that I was still stumped because how could the answer be that obvious. Fortunately, no penalizing usage of the hint button. Things I loved: * when that dopamine hit, it hit like it meant it. * I got to shoot down a(n unoccupied) hot air balloon, which I'd never realized was something I really wanted to do until now * badges.

I didn't especially enjoy this one. It's okay, but I ran into a few bugs and the hidden object scenes were sometimes frustrating -- you're asking me to find a bottle...on a shelf absolutely packed full of bottles? The bonus puzzles you do to get coins felt a little pointless, although they were fun. I liked the way the map worked, but I often felt overwhelmed with the number of items in my inventory with no idea where to use them. When I got to the end of the main game, I still had several items left over so I'm guessing there are multiple paths somewhere? I don't care enough to find out. The game crashed multiple times, and I had a few graphical glitches. One of the hidden object scenes was broken, or else the hitboxes are really finnicky -- luckily it wasn't game breaking since I could switch to the Match-3 mode, which has the most godawful music I've ever heard. All in all, if you're a big HOG fan, wait for a deep discount.

It was a good game. It is not linear. Had to use the hint a lot. It crashed a couple of timed, but it saved where I was in the game. For the small cost it was worth it.

This game is actually kind of cool, it has a lot of features that other HOGS don't. The story is fun and the environments are spooky, The puzzles are actually quite challenging which is a pleasant surprise. however I can't recommend it because of how buggy it is. I had a bug that forced me to restart completely and multiple crashes. I think this game desperately needs a patch before anyone should buy it. (my playtime is so high because I left it running once lmao)
