Aralunis is a 2d platformer probably aimed toward really casual platformer player. From my points of view, the level are too long, 4 level took me 40 mins It also doesn't help that the secrets and real paths are confusing, especially on level 3, and a lots of part where you cannot backtrack so you have to replay the entire level to check if you missed a collectible or enemy to kill to get the 3 stars rating at the end of the level. The level should have been split in 3 part imo to make it more digestable in secret hunting. And also better for casual player since it doesn't save progress so you'd have to restart the whole level if you quit in the middle of it. The difficulty is almost non existant, there is nothing hard in the platforming part of the game, and most enemy are pretty easy to jump unto. The only "hard" part are when there is a golem and and archer next to each other since jumping on the golem put you exactly in the path of the arrow. I'm sure that if i never played a platformer in my life i could probably enjoy it a little bit but currently, its just too slow, level are too long and you can't backtrack for secrets and enemy missed, you just have to replay the entire…

Solid platformer with tight controls, flexible abilities, and replay incentives, though the level design can feel somewhat repetitive over time. This game features a surprising twist to its story. It begins with the princess honoring the hero before the king and his court. But just as the ceremony unfolds, a portal suddenly appears, and out steps a dark wizard who vows to kidnap the princess as retribution for the king’s misdeeds against the dark kingdom. However, due to a miscalculation, the beam meant for the princess captures the hero instead. Wracked with guilt, the princess takes matters into her own hands, leaving the castle to rescue him. While the princess doesn’t possess unique combat abilities, she functions much like a traditional platforming hero, which means her primary skill is jumping. This jump is decent, but still demands precision, especially when leaping across gaps or onto enemies. Defeating enemies involves jumping on them, though some require multiple hits. Many enemies activate a defense mechanism, like protruding spikes, after the first hit, forcing you to wait a few seconds before striking again. Boss fights match the game’s moderate overall difficulty. …

Video: https://youtu.be/5BLxPTnEzYE I thought the demo was pretty promising. A casual platformer with cute graphics and a whimsical story. So, I was happy enough to purchase the game when it came out. Unfortunately, I really don't recommend it. I've given up after the 3rd world, with only 1 more world to go. I feel like I'm forcing myself through a long and dull process that can't possibly provide an appropriate reward for doing so. The game starts off fairly well, but after a few levels in the fun factor starts to dissipate. Levels become pretty long and occasionally confusing as to where you ought to go. Fake floors and walls open up new paths, but often come at times you're already impatiently waiting for the level to end. The music is the same for each of the levels until you hit the boss level. Then you head to a new world, which feels like a reskinned version of the first world with a handful of changes, with a music track that doesn't change until you hit the boss for that world. I think, maybe 15 seconds before it loops back to itself. Maybe. It's a casual platformer without any major difficulties. You find bees to give you extra lives. You can avoid most …
