Astrohazard Solutions Ltd. is a small 2D space game with a really fun idea behind it. Instead of blowing up asteroids and other space junk, I am hired as a new employee of a strange interstellar company and my job is to redirect those hazards away from the company's clients. The main tool I get is the AstroBeam, which lets me slow things down and push objects away rather than simply destroying everything. I like that because it gives the game its own identity straight away. It feels like a simple arcade idea, but there is a bit more thought involved than I expected. The AstroBeam is easily the best part for me. I have to control the incoming objects and guide them away from whatever I am supposed to protect, which means I am constantly thinking about their speed and direction. It is satisfying when I manage to push something away at the last second and save the target. There are three different mission types as well, so the objective is not always exactly the same. The game does a good job of keeping the basic mechanic simple while still giving me something to concentrate on. I also like the corporate setting because it gives the game a lot more personality than it would have had…

Too hard for me, I can't even go through lv2! ======================================== Update 20240617: At least it's free, playable and creative. quality is at OK level, you can't expect too much content from a free single player game. Far better than some dead game. I may have another shot someday.
