The police ruled that the suicide of Helen Lancaster, where she gutted herself with a kitchen knife, was due to the grief of losing her husband. Her son, Clint Lancaster, doesn't believe a woman as deeply religious as her mother would do such a thing. Clint takes it upon himself to visit his family farm and see if he can piece together the truth. What could have caused his mother to do such a thing? Was it even her? If not, what's waiting for him at Lancaster Farm?
Azurael's Circle: Chapter 1 is a horror-mystery adventure game. Navigate the house and find clues as to what happened to Helen Lancaster. Piece together items you find in your inventory to get into locked areas of the house and find other useful tools that can help you uncover the mystery.
This is the first act in a planned series of stories following the events surrounding Azurael. Across the series you'll encounter scarier and stranger events that slowly link together into a dark plot that'll chill you to your core.

"Azurael's Circle: Chapter 1" is not a game. It's an advertisement for a product called "Azurael's Circle". Azurael's Circle is a basic, really crappy RPG Maker asset flip (I think there are some custom assets in there too, because they look really bad). The developer couldn't work out how to use RPG Maker to make a JRPG (the only thing it can do, and it's really bad at it). Instead, it's a garbage tier top down adventure game with a lame supernatural theme. But this isn't completely relevant because this is not Azurael's Circle, it's just an advertisment for it, so it's not correct to try to review that completely distinct product. We must instead review this for what it is... an advertisement. If you enjoy advertisements, you can consume them for free on the web or on Youtube without needing to add them to your game library, download them, and then launch the advertising. It's impossible in a general sense to recommend people should do that over playing real, full games on Steam, and that applies here with "Azurael's Circle: Chapter 1" too. The objective of this advertisement is to get you to spend $8 USD unlocking the full parts of the game. I don't recommend you do. …1 found this helpful

Боевая система проста и однообразна, требующая минимального участия игрока. Головоломки встречаются редко и не представляют особой сложности. Отсутствие озвучки воспринимается как упущенная возможность добавить глубины персонажам и происходящему. В целом, 'Azurael's Circle: Chapter 1' – это неплохой старт для потенциально интересной серии. This game was really short, but it was good. Very foreboding and mysterious. I had a hard time figuring out that you can't just use inventory items like you would expect from most point-and-click adventures. You can literally only view your inventory, but can't actually do anything with it. You'll just use whatever you need when it's time to complete the puzzle. That, along with the fact that I often had to click below an object in order to interact with it were my only beefs. In the end, if you like occultish mystery adventures, try this.
bought this game in september of 2018 and didnt play it until june of 2023. im glad i did finally decide to play it though, because it had some fun puzzles to solve (even though i did have to look up a guide because im dumb.) I will definitely check out the other chapters!
