Beyond low fps and no fix for it.

A Very unique Kinda-Remake of EoSD to the point where I can still fully recommended this after the official remake has come out. Has a very higher production then your typical Fan Remake, having fully voice acted characters, and Fully 3D modeled characters with a rather huge cast that expands beyond the EoSD realm. Gameplay is very unique for your usual touhou, Horizontal scrolling compared to the usual Vertical, also has some unique mechanics where you dash around and bash your head onto enemies (required to stop spell cards btw, interesting choice). This makes the game a bit easy if you know how to utilize it, but does make for some interestingly designed enough stages where I can say it's pretty fun to do. Also surprisingly for this game, a lot of Unlockable customization options! These cosmetics do have effects on gameplay and you can unlock a decent amount of them, doesn't get toooo crazy but it's enough where you'll feel some progression from just playing the game. This definitely isn't the standard Touhou experience so I can't recommend this as a replacement for EoSD at all (Story still implies the events of the original happened), especially also considering this games me…

I gave the game a shot, and while the bullet patterns isn't an issue. The problem is the fact there is no indicator on how long it is, and you have to do it all in one run. There are just too many things that can go wrong that will just wipe progress. Sorry, but it is just a bad game. I'll complete it, but this is just a no. Story: Trapped in a cycle, Reimu repeats it multiple times. An event orchestrated by Remilia. It is an interesting concept, but didn't really expand much. The main problem area comes in two folds. 1. Everything has to be done in one sitting, this is just dumb design. I'll just say it flat out, there are many problems that can just arise and end a run, technical for instance. 2. Spellcard captures. If you use your spellcard or the P point thing, you have now failed to capture it. It is like, the hell is the point of these features then? They are just useless. Meaning, it turns into a generic shooter. It is like, the pieces are there, but nothing is well done on the mechanic side The music is really good to be fair, and the art style as well. my first bullet game of touhou was this game i loved it

the bullets and the collectables aren't easy to distinguish, you can just spam the Y button to get out of most things, not my thing personally sorry

I've been searching for this game since I found a footage of a gameplay of this game. But that aside, this might be one of my favorite Touhou fan games, especially if you've also played Deathsmiles and want a similar game, but with Touhou characters! Amazing graphics, gameplay is very fun, and everyone's beloved tomboyish girl, Cirno is a playable character!
