About Azure Sky Project
Azure Sky Project is a Tactical 2D Shooter where the player has complete freedom on how to tackle missions. Engage in our 15 hand-built campaign missions or farm up some money in our randomly generated "Freelance Work" missions.
You are the commander. The decisions are all yours.
Earn money to buy new gear, hire new agents and upgrade your base for more passive bonuses. Collect Prototype items from within missions to build extra powerful weapons and gadgets.
Defend your base from enemy attacks by building turrets, barbed wire fences, places to take cover, and by sending agents to repel enemy attack as they occur.

We are dedicated to making this game as fun and satisfying as possible and as such, this version will be consistently updated to reflect user feedback!
Our plans for now are weekly updates to tweak things, fix small issues, update UI, implement player ideas, item re-works, update art assets, and add content when we finish more.
We'll update crashes or major issues as soon as we can (probably within 24 hours of discovery) as long as we're able.

It's a fun game, but it doesn't seem to be working correctly for me. Periodically, and error message will pop up and interrupt the game. This issue seems to be similar (in wording) to an issue posted on the discussion boards from 2017. Six years later, the game still seems to be buggy. Azure Sky truly is fun, and worth having a look at. Though I haven't quite gotten comfortable with the controls, I think the whole thing could be completed in several hours. . . if it worked. I begrudgingly recommend this game. Burgee seems to be working on interesting things. This game is worthy of playing, and the company worthy of keeping an eye on. Burgee might have some secret sauce baked into upcoming titles. My basic threshold for a game being good is that it works. If a developer can pull that off, I am more than happy to acknowledge the game works, and think of it as a 5/10. That is to say, if all the technical aspects of game function work, and the mechanics are sound 5/10 regardless of genre, or appeal to me personally. Azure Sky Project is a 2D retro pixel tactical side view shooter that's been slapped together with the godawful GameMaker Studio video game construction kit from Yoyogames. This is a sincere attempt at making a game (albeit with the wrong tools and insufficient budget/talent), so while there are some valid concepts, the implementation falls flat, hard. The game features obsolete retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. Resolution and controls are locked, so there's no way to improve the very poor visual quality or the control scheme. These flaws push this game far below minimum acceptable standards for PC. GameMaker Studio is a very poor quality game construction kit, and unsurprisingly results in products that have little to no value as games, especially when compared to the work of professional developers who create genuine products for gamers. Баланс сложности иногда оставляет желать лучшего, и без внимательного микроменеджмента можно быстро оказаться в безнадежной ситуации. Хотя визуально игра выглядит приятно, оптимизация не идеальна, что может повлиять на производительность на менее мощных устройствах. Сюжет довольно слабо выражен и не предлагает особо захватывающих поворотов. В целом, Azure Sky Project - неплохая игра, способная увлечь на несколько часов.
