Ballsy! World Cup 2020

A simple, addictive and fun football-like game although it really lacks variety. There are only two playing modes: a friendly match and a world cup play-off stage. A training mode would come in handy. The game would also benefit from a more in-depth world cup mode, e.g. qualification stages, tables, match statistics, extra time with penalty shootouts (or something similar), home/away matches, more teams from each continent. The game has great a soundtrack and runs perfectly on Linux btw.

It's fast and fun, and you can win the world cup! There's tactics, and you can't just run through the opposing team, you have to pass the ball. The emphasis is on fun and humour, which is the way I like it. The music is really great too, I found myself looking forward to hearing certain tracks. I've only played single player so far, but I appreciate the fact that it's got a local multiplayer option. All in all, a great game for the price, and I can see myself having a casual game quite often in the future.

Game's fine but Argentine players aren't... uhhh... ethnically accurate. 7/10

The game is excellent, combining simulation and arcade elements; it's challenging to master, but enjoyable.

Would I recommend this? Heck yes, I would! It's arcade footy and it's loads of fun! Plenty of options to play how you want, good controls and responsive. Worked with my Xbox 360 controller straight away no messing about. I can't find anything to complain about - it's a really nice little game and I think the difficulty on normal is just right. Enough of a challenge to keep you on your toes, some games are a real battle, but never so difficult that it feels unfair. They got the balance perfect. Very pleased with this. My only complaint is that it's ridiculously cheap - too cheap for such a gem!

Absolute scam, it is impossible to score a goal and unfun and generic, probably student project which shouldn't be released on Steam
