✦ AI summary
Players appreciate the Fire Emblem-inspired tactical gameplay with city management elements and procedural map generation, along with helpful video tutorials. However, the game suffers from significant technical issues including long AI turn times, missing quality-of-life features like auto-end turn, crashes, and display problems, leading reviewers to suggest it feels more like early access than a finished release.
Came out two days ago?! Do... Do I get to leave the first review? Do you like Fire Emblem, but wish it was more simple and that you could take over cities? Boy do I have a game for you. Reminiscent of Battle Brothers (groups roaming map procedural) without the story plus a little bit of Civilization (hex/city management). Many quality of life issues currently 1.AI turns take long even in fog of war 2. no auto end turn or even a button prompt, 3. Restart for monitor resolution change (and still pixelated text on max), etc.. The game should be in early access, but it has potential. Bright spot was the video tutorial recordings. Experienced my first crash turn 7 after an hour of gameplay. Autosave is every turn so not terrible, but buyer beware. Would I buy it full price knowing what I know now? Probably not. But I'm keeping it to support the dev. Excited to see it evolve beyond rock/paper/scissors weapon advantage. Battles felt repetitive after an hour and difficulty is based on a preset number of guys lost per battle. ---{ Graphics }--- ☐ You forget what reality is ☐ Beautiful ☐ Good ☑ Decent, once you get past the tree hexs ☐ Bad ☐ Don‘t look too long at it ☐ MS-DOS ---{ Gamepla…8 found this helpful
