Beauty Contest

This is a very short and very basic Yuri/Lesbian Romance Story. I normally really like anything in that genre, however this one really just isnt one of the good ones. The Translation is really quite bad, it isnt as bad as that you cant even understand whats going on, but it also destroys any good dialogue that might exist if you play it in russian. The story itself is also really basic and the character development just is not good it goes from "yeah, I dont really like you" to "Wow, I love you and want to always be with you" in 10 minutes of you reading. That is at least in one of the routes, but the quality doesnt get better in general. The one thing that I did like though are the artworks and the sprites are also quite good. The backgrounds arent as good, but they also do their job. If it wasnt for the art then I really would just say dont even bother, but since the art really is quite nice I will say that you could buy it if you are someone that really likes to collect Visual Novels. This certainly wont be a great one and I would even say its worse than average for sure, but well if you are just here to appreciate some nice artworks than why not. Be careful though cause there…

This is a pretty interesting visual novel with nice graphics that only takes about a half an hour to read through. It says this is an adult game, but there are only tiny amounts of nudity.

This is a very short and sweet visual novel that takes place in the span of three short days, each one being a different level of the titular Beauty Contest. You find two friends that you have history with, one shy girl and one that's your fiercest rival, and the criticisms of the romance being too rushed is valid-- but keep in mind that this is a short project that takes place in less than half a week! The other thing of note is that this is a translated game, as I believe that the devs are from Estonia. So some broken English is present, but although it may remove some peoples' immersion, I didn't quite mind it. Do not buy this game if you're doing it for the H-scenes, as the sexual content is PG-13 at least, and R at most. If you want a cute, simple story that you may finish in less than two hours, I would say that this is worth it. I understand that game development is difficult, and this is just a fledgling foreign studio, so I choose to go easy on them. Besides, the story itself is really adorable!

The game is really short, so the whole story is insanely fast paced. We don't even get enough time to build good connection with our love interests. The biggest issue is the english translation. It's not something insanely terrible (at least you understand what's going on), but it totally "kills" some dialogues. The only plus that I can think of - art style (except weirdly censored sex scenes). It's a cute little story with two possible romanceable characters. The translation is a bit rough sometimes, but you can follow the story without a problem. Sprites are lovely; I think you get to see the characters in 3 different costumes (5 with lingerie and nude sprites) CGs are precious too, but I don't get why the ones with the h-stuff are censored. It seems rather an arbitrary decision since the h-sprites are shown with no issue. Keep in mind that there are only 2 h-CGs and they only show the girls tops, so there is not much to censor anyway. I forgot that this game contained h-stuff; I was quite surprised by the sprites, lol. So, in short: a small VN with gay girls, decent narrative and great artwork. I recommend.
