Silly and fun, probably more fun with some friends over for a little extra style points and perhaps friendly challenges. While a consequence of the current hot weather I'm having this game had me work up a sweat, good little workout that plays like a game. I should probably play more games like this to get in better shape. The more space you have to play the better. Mechanics feel good so long as your hardware works okay. (I had a slow release on my right-hand grip, but I fixed it with some contact cleaner) A pretty short campaign and perhaps not a lot of replay ability for a single user, but if you're having some friends over for VR shenanigans it could be an alright game to go a few turns on.
Disclaimer: I've received this game for free via Curator Connect. Fun little VR game about throwing boomerangs while multitasking. It looks like a garbage meme game, but it plays very well. Throwing feels responsive, aim assist is balanced just right for a frantic arcade experience. Cooking is also surprisingly enjoyable and neatly integrated into wave defense action. Item interactions are smooth, there are very little physics engine jank. The only exception is batting: it is pretty bad, but it's only used in Boss Battles. Difficulty curve is steep and the game is quite challenging even on normal difficulty, but that's Straya, mate :) Works on Reverb G2
I can definitely vouch for this as an unexpected fitness game. There's punching and A LOT of throwing. The gameplay mechanics are really polished too and its satisfying to catch the boomerang. In a weird way it kind of reminds me of Blade & Sorcery for kids if your only weapon was a boomerang.
