"Beyond the Void" is an abandoned low poly "MOBA" game, a 1v1 RTS where you control a mother ship and a bunch of creeps (little ships in this case), harvest resources... I think it might have worked but the focus on PvP instead of adding single player content, as well as refusing to use Steamworks and trying to harvest people's email addresses for the purpose of either junk mail or profiling and data collection deterred a lot of gamers. Yeah, there's no reason not to use Steamworks apart from shady ones. As a gamer, theres [b]never[/b] any justification for a developer needing your personal email address. Creepy. Anyway the developer seems to have pulled the plug, there's no back end server so this can't be played. It's a dead game, polluting the store. In terms of visuals, this features fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high quality visuals, failing to do so is a disservice to gamers. It's very difficult to recommend bad looking games.
