About BHB: BioHazard Bot

You are BHB. A BioHazard Bot. Your mission: decontaminate.

When alien creatures overrun a research facility, robotic drones known as BioHazard Bots are deployed to deal with a situation too dangerous for regular decontamination crews. Creatures known to the scientists as "floaters" are slowly altering the atmosphere of the facility, allowing the more dangerous creatures to spread. As BHB it is your job to destroy them and halt the infestation in its tracks. And while you're at it, find the source of the creatures and stop it too.

Navigate the dark and eerie facility level by level and clean it up. Along the way you will encounter various kinds of creatures, navigate obstacles such as surfaces with localized gravity, miniature black holes, and more. As BHB you also have access to high tech weaponry such as the reliable blaster, remotely detonated grenades, the laser beam, and the flamethrower.

BHB: BioHazard Bot makes use of physics. Gravity surfaces allow you to walk up walls, miniature black holes pull you into orbit...and you're not the only one affected by the physics! Enemies can navigate the same gravity surfaces and attack you from any direction, they can get pulled into the black holes as well. You can grenade jump, you can punch your grenades far way, enemies are affected by jump pads, and much more. Clever AI can tell where you are and chase you even if you're on the ceiling.

You have a job to do BHB. Get to it.

Been following development on this game for quite some time. The game was created by only one person which is super impressive. Usually when this is the case a game like this would turn out to be lacking but this game is actually really fun. Immediately the most impressive element of this game is the graphical presentation, its very realistic and textured well. Another thing I love is the design of the main character you play as the biohazard bot himself has a charm similar to beloved characters like Wall-E, Johnny 5, and R2D2. The game has great platforming and exploration and I love the new weapons you get while trying to make it to the end. The sound design is really cool too. Very atmospheric and immerses you into the game. Brilliant use of lighting also. Better than most major titles coming out today. Excited to see what this devloper does next. Would love to see more enemy designs in the next installment. I almost forgot to mention the physics are off the chain. 15 bucks is a steal for this fun platformer. I also love the ability to rotate the camera despite the game being a sidescroller. Would absolutely reccomend.

A little short, but it's a fun, atmospheric platformer with lots of creative ideas crammed into a 2 and a half hour game. The gravity mechanics are very interesting but feel underutilized, like the developer didn't have time to fully explore the potential. The ending is somewhat anticlimactic, and the way the weapons are unlocked is somewhat unsatisfying, but each weapon does feel fun to use. The level design is good and each level feels like a small maze, not so big as to frustrate you and overwhelm you with how often you get lost, but not so simple as to make exploration trivial. You might have to backtrack several times through the levels, but it won't take long to figure out where you need to go with a little patience. Would definitely recommend on sale, and I look forward to the Brain Machine's next project!
