I wish I could give a review on a grade scale, rather than just a flat "Yes" or "No" Overall if you like platformers, buy this on-sale! I really hope the developers can refine this game either in a remaster or a sequel, because there's a lot to enjoy here. However, as of writing this review, it can use a bit of work. What I like! + In terms of movement and game-feel, I like it! It has a button in the Pause menu to respawn you if you get stuck in a corner, glitch with collision, etc (which, for an indie platformer, is a pretty smart idea!) + I should note, I didn't have any major game-breaking glitches + The frog theming is great! The tongue mechanics are interesting (picking oversize locks, grappling, pulling objects, etc.). Climbing is cool (and climbing frogs aren't exactly swimming frogs, so that's funny!) + Creative consumables! Sure "red peper causes fire" and "explosive item in the mine" are old, but "Apple; Place your own grapple target" or "Mushroom; Place your own bounce-pad" or "Acorn; Place your own ladder-roots" are cool ideas for consumables in a platformer! And there's many more! + The minor NPC dialogue has a lot of charm, as does Hop when you analyze a new …3 found this helpful

I loved this game. It has some jank but the movement is fluid and fun. Its maybe a bit long and they couldve cut some content but I dont think it is a huge detriment that there is too much. its incredible that there is so much voice acting in an indie game
Very fun platformer with great movement options and interesting mechanics. No combat - only platforming, extra challenges, collection and story. Family friendly. There is some challenge for genre novices but it's on the easy side for more expert players. Absolutely no issues with physics or level design. It reminded me a little of A Hat In Time. Underrated!
Great platformer, mediocre collectathon. Really nice game. You can feel how much heart and soul went into the design. Great characters, amazing worlds and a really fun momentum based movement system which builds on Mario 64's dive attack with its belly slide. Also the different fruits feel pretty enganging to explore and push you to find creative ways to progress. Solid 18 hours of fun but the endgame is pretty exhausting. It needs more docking ports for your airship and an easier way to boot out of the levels once you find the desired object. To collect everything you have to do a lot of backtracking. A LOT. It's fun at first because you got different fruits compared to your first run, but it gets exhausting real quick. Also the rewards weren't that... rewarding 😅 no new and cool items like for example a jetpack or something crazy. You just get the normal drips or some basic stuff. I collected all the bugs and was pretty disappointed. So the gane lost me at this point. Till then I had great fun.
