Bind

Bind is a very short puzzle game that feels more like a strange little journey than a normal game. I play as a spirit travelling through a world that exists between death and rebirth, with the whole place being controlled by the divine sisters of fate. The story is quite abstract and I am not given a huge amount of information at the start, so a lot of the experience comes from working out what the world means as I move through it. I like that it does not explain everything straight away because it gives the game a mysterious feeling. The puzzles are simple compared with a lot of dedicated puzzle games, but they fit the strange setting well. I am dealing with different challenges connected to the thread of life, and a lot of the game is about observing the environment and understanding what I am supposed to do. It is not really about difficult logic puzzles that take me ages to solve. Instead, I am slowly working things out while moving through the world. That makes it feel more like an interactive experience where the puzzles are there to support the atmosphere rather than completely take over. The sound is probably what stands out most for me. Fun game. Reallllllllllly short though. Like 10 minutes. Good concept though. Would be interested in a 3-5 hour version for sure!

great work simple but you need to make transations after each puzzle not rocks and transparent views looks like glitchy.. and make it exceed 2-3 hours puzzles keep going...

Bind is a free, very short 3D puzzle game, though it could more accurately be described as a demo, I feel. The look (monochrome, with bright white for the "bind" strings) & sound (both music & voiceover) of the game are atmospheric & unworldly, and hint at later development into a full game with a story, perhaps. Each of the few puzzles opens the route to the next one; the puzzles themselves are either very simple, or obscure but small enough to solve by trial and error. As others have mentioned, my PC's graphics processor & fans went into overdrive on the default graphical settings! Overall, definitely worth experiencing for the imagery and sound, even if not for the current set of puzzles themselves.

Not much of a game and limited settings. the game took about 5 minutes. it ran very hard on my gaming computer disrupting other programs. and there is no seperate audiotrack so volume mixer could not isolate the sound. even when muted it would still play.
