It's a TRIP!

One of the weirdest games I've streamed. And that's saying something. I loved the amount of choices somehow squished into a relatively short game, though I wasn't a fan of the volume of dialogue. Quite chatty. I spent the first half of the game mostly reading out loud. It's 100% worth playing for its intriguing story, humour, ambience and unusual mechanics, but streamers beware - it's not without its flaws, some of which I feel aren't great for your audience. 1) I got stuck just by walking into the corner of a small set of stairs on the way to the Fort. All I had to do was run into it, and I was stuck. Had to quit the game and reload. 2) The game's visual style is intentionally murky [spoiler](it's plot relevant)[/spoiler], though as in-game time ticks on, it only gets darker, and murkier. It reaches a point where you can't see a thing without your lantern, and given you can only hold a single item at a time, it becomes a bit of a chore navigating the world. It's also not very [i]visually[/i] pleasant for an audience to look at, imo. 3) There's a minor glitch with the dialogue boxes. You'll always get an extra, empty one at the end of every conversation, which sometimes will go a…

After getting all achievements, time to leave a review. Pros: - really nice atmosphere - the story was.. ?? weird in a good way - the big guy stalking you was really creepy - can be finished in 1-3 hours Cons: - poorly optimized, especially the swamp part - can't save in this game (at least I don't think you can?) you have to do a playthrough in one sitting as you can't manually save the game, which will take you around 1 hour or more if you don't know what you're doing - because you can't save, there are many achievements that require specific dialogue, so if you miss it, well guess what, you have to play 30 minutes again just to get a specific dialogue, I really didn't like this. If you want put such achievements, make sure I can save my game please so I don't play 40 minutes of nothing just to get a dialogue right that doesn't matter anyway - too many sexual birds, I have a feeling some of the devs might be furries 6.5/10 not great, not terrible

Birds watching is a really interesting game, i loved pieceing together the story and exploring the landscape, the map feels like its the perfect size, large enough you have to explore for a while to find everything, but not so big traversing the map feels like a chore.

Has a very odd insert about women and their anatomy, but otherwise a compelling little narrative exploration horror game.
