Blades of Jianghu: Ballad of Wind and Dust

I bought this game seeking an H-game/eroge with strong RPG elements but...the RPG aspect of the game is very weak, weak enough to justify doing away with it altogether. Story: average Chinese sword fantasy. Not good, not terrible. Difficulty: requires your brain to memorize some stuff, in particular the dungeons' overall layout if you do plan on clearing all of them, but that's about it. HCGs quality: few, but very high quality. In case anyone is wondering, I installed the R18 patch before playing and it runs fine without any hiccups.

For a game I picked just for fun because the girls are nice to look at, especially the white-haired girl, I was definitely in love with the art-style, but somehow along the way, I hated myself for buying this game because it was not voiced.... and I really want a refund. Why?! Because playing a game that you like, and eventually become intimate with the girls are one of the main things I was asking for in a game such as this... and this game actually give it, and there's no NTR in this, which I really love, but for the price point of 12USD discounted to ~7$ on sale in my region, it's not bad... until I get to the part that you really want it voiced, ugh, it's not really worth it. However, despite the fact that it's not voiced, you can still enjoy this as is as an rpg game, and it's the simple game style that you won't need to butt heads to learn... Played outside of steam unlocking everything. Ignore my playtime on Steam. Art is Gorgeous H-section are few but also gorgeous and well written H-animation, very expressive and powerful. Story, I intially searching for the H, but come to appreciate the story and the characters. Although short & simple, (and somewhat rushed near the end), it is compelling and I wished there could be more of it. Goodly written and likeable heroine, and once again their design. I can tell, the game is heavily inspired by Alice-soft's and Eushully's games. Although it's not perfect, and could be soo much better, there are vestige of the dev's passion that can be seen sometimes. The game weakness: Lack QOL, like NG+. Player are expected to save LOTS if they want to complete everything (And waste the grind from the further ahead save file). The combat is ok, but awfully grindy, especially the dungeon where player are expected to enter multiple of times and figure out their mappings. This is worst given that there is no NG+. Too easy gameplay but with surprisingly interesting and fun to read story, even better with 2 equally good girls.
