Börnies Journey

Börnies Journey is a free to play, German language 2D retro pixel point and click adventure game that runs in DOSBox, in the old Monkey Island/ScummVM style. Gameplay consists of pointing and clicking on various elements of 2D scenes to progress the story. The story involves helping Börnie in a Top Gear style race, as he rides a train in an attempt to reach the goal faster than someone driving a car. On the upsides, there's a pleasant cartoony art style, and this is a genuine video game with sincere content that may be amusing to some gamers. It's evident the developers put a lot of effort into story and puzzle design. There's no English translation, but I won't hold that against the game. There's other problems with this game that render it below standards for contemporary PC games. Despite being released in 2020, the game features ugly 2D retro pixel "art" instead of contemporary PC visuals. Resolution is locked and can't be changed (typical of a DOSBox game). Bornie game is so cool make more please. also english translation would be nice cuz i dont know german so i got idea what going on but gameplay epic!!! Bornie is my favourite character haha he so funny. Hopefully they don't go p2w like all games now adays.... I don't wanna see gem like disapear because of bad marketing. And one last bug but I didn't think it's that big of a deal, whenever I try to buy a glock from the gun store next to toms diner it just kicks me outside and gives me the first kidnapping achievement. So kinda weird but it's okay. Good game man.

Игра "Börnie's Journey" – это приятное и расслабляющее приключение, идеально подходящее для небольших перерывов. Визуальный стиль очарователен, с милыми персонажами и красочными локациями. Мне особенно понравилось ощущение прогресса – постепенно расширяешь свою территорию и открываешь новые возможности. Музыкальное сопровождение ненавязчивое и хорошо сочетается с общей атмосферой игры. Хотя в игре нет захватывающего сюжета, её простота и легкость подкупают. Это отличный выбор для тех, кто ищет казуальную игру, чтобы отдохнуть и расслабиться. Единственный небольшой минус – иногда повторяются одни и те же задания, но это не сильно портит общее впечатление. Рекомендую всем, кто любит милые фермы и спокойные игры.
