I really shoulda noticed in the trailer, but i was willing to give the creator the benefit of the doubt, but a lot of assets in this look ai generated. I kind of gave up on the game when it came to the Christmas level and I saw that Ai generated image. i loved reventure (pretty sure it came out before the ai ♥♥♥♥? i don't remember.) which is why i find this so disappointing. There was genuine, art, creativity, and passion in that game. It's so fun and like, GOOD! and now we got a game that (I get this is the point) have little effort put into it to the point where they can't even bother not using somthing that does catastrophic damage to the environment every prompt, and is latterly incapable of being used ethically as every prompt is basically saying to the companies behind them "yeah this is ok! no one cares that you are stealing every bit of information possible and encouraging people not to think and to just allow suppression, not to create art, not to care, not to have empathy and anything that makes people communicate or live! :D" Thanks for that, I had faith in you. I thought you did too.

Instead of promising constant excitement, elaborate combat, or an emotional story, it deliberately revolves around mundane and repetitive activities. Developed and published by Pixelatto, the game embraces the idea that boredom itself can become entertaining when it is presented with enough self-awareness. It feels less like a conventional adventure and more like an interactive joke about patience, completionism, and the strange things players are willing to do when a game provides even the smallest incentive to continue. The basic concept involves performing intentionally boring tasks and discovering just how much monotony you are willing to tolerate. That simplicity is deceptive because the real challenge is psychological rather than mechanical. There is an amusing conflict between wanting to stop because an activity is tedious and wanting to continue simply to discover what happens afterward. Borıng. is one of those games where the joke is basically the entire point. The game openly tells me that it is about doing boring things and that I should probably be spending my time on something more useful. Instead of giving me exciting combat or some huge adventure, it gives me a collection of deliberately dull tasks and expects me to keep going anyway. I actually like the confidence behind that idea because it knows exactly what it is trying to do. It is not pretending to be a serious game and then accidentally becoming boring. The boredom is the joke. What makes it work for me is that there are still enough different little activities to make me curious about what comes next. I can go through various mundane situations, complete strange tasks and slowly work through the game's collection of jokes and challenges. There are also 17 achievements, which gives me another reason to poke around and see what else the game has hidden. The whole thing feels like a parody of games that constantly try to give me rewards, objectives and reasons to keep playing. Here, even the pointless stuff becomes part of the joke.
